Well, if we're not ready now, we never will be and we'll have to push our bikes up some of the hills. Mind you, I'm not bothered; I really couldn't have done too much more. Well, I could have done more but I’d be divorced now!!!
Here's a list of every training ride I've done:

We leave on Friday morning to travel to Edinburgh, on Saturday we travel to John O’Groats and on Sunday we start. I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone. I said it would fly by, but I didn’t believe it would seem so quick. I blurted my idea 442 Days ago!!!
The nerves are REALLY kicking in now. “Will the route be okay?”, “Will the accommodation be okay?”, “Will I be able to do the route okay?”... I’m even dreaming about cycling.
IT’S TIME TO MAN-UP.
After all the grief of planning the trip, all we’ve got to do now is ride our bikes for 13 days.
The fund currently stands at £9,351.40. We still have a few days before we leave to gather some more and it really would be great to leave Oxfordshire in the knowledge that we had reached our target.
I can’t think of a better reason to keep on peddling up those long hills than if we have already hit our target. Unless there’s a pub at the top of course… that would be a good incentive too.
If you are thinking of sponsoring us but thought that you’d wait until we’re on the trip or even wait until we get back, please do it now…We really would be grateful.
